Dr. Mohammad Shukri Jahit

Dr. Mohammad Shukri b. Jahit has spent 17 years working experience in the Ministry of Health Malaysia and is a Consultant Upper GI and General Surgery, Hospital Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

He had graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and obtained MD (1994) and MMed Surgery (2002).

He also a Fellowship in Upper GI Surgery dari Finders Medical Centre South Australia(2006-2007).

Dr. Mohammad Shukri gained his medical degree from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1994. He graduated with Masters of Surgery in 2002 from the same institution. He successfully completed his Fellowship in Upper GI Surgery in Adelaide South Australia in 2007. Currently Dr Shukri heads the Department of General Surgery, Sungai Buloh Hospital Selangor. His major interests are in Upper GI Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery and Nutrition Support. He is one of the trainer and supervisor of the Upper GI sub-speciality in the Ministry of Health of Malaysia. He is the council member of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Society of Malaysia since 2010 and pioneer member of the Malaysian Upper GI Surgery Club since 2007. He is a key figure in promoting the establishment of Nutrition Support Team in Sungai Buloh Hospital as well as in Malaysia.
